Parker Family Farms

The new year has brought much more rain and especially snow.  As the snow and ice melt that means much more MUD. It is snowing now and they are calling for flash flooding. Needless to say, we are definately out of our drought.  Despite the mess all animals are doing well.  We have to keep the pig huts refurnished with hay to keep them dry.  We have had a couple of sows have babies when it was below freezing but our God provides and protects and they did fine.

We have a new member on the farm.  A little black lamb named Sid.  We have been bottle feeding him for a couple of weeks.

We will be getting more chickens in the coming weeks so that will mean a few more mouths to feed and take care of. We're not complaining, we love the animals and we love what they provide.
