Blog Post New Entry

Hello All.  I'll try to keep you updated on our farm.

Today is beautiful in the 70s.  Just last weekend we were dealing with lots of rain and then it changed over to snow.  Fortunately none of our sows had babies during that time.  Grass is looking greener which is nice to see after all the  brown this winter.

Our pullets are just starting to lay so egg production is on the way.  The chickens are liking the new grass especially after trying to figure out what in the world snow is.  Chickens are funny when it snows.  They don't know what to do.  Some of our game birds will stay in the trees all day long not knowing whether to fly out of the tree or not.
